The founders: Why we bought the cars that we bought
Friday Aug 14, 2020
Friday Aug 14, 2020
The third episode of the founders' podcast looks at the cars we bought and why we bought them.
A lot of motoring journalists don't own cars, or if they do, they rarely drive them. That's why people are often surprised to hear that we own a bunch of random cars, with our taste in cars completely varying between the three of us.
In this podcast episode we talk about the cars we owned before CarAdvice, the new cars we bought and finally the used cars we've acquired since selling the old business.
To cap things off, we thought we'd include a gallery of our cars at the CarExpert website (link below) so you have something to flick through.
Let us know what you think, which car you'd like to drive away in and which topics you'd like to hear us cover in future episodes.
This is a long episode and as always is uncensored, so grab a beer, or a coffee, or any other refillable drink and enjoy!

The founders: Driving the Bugatti Veyron and our first Full Throttle trip
Friday Jul 31, 2020
Friday Jul 31, 2020
Thank you for the amazing positive reaction to the first and subsequent episodes of the CarExpert podcast!
Our first episode with the three founders, Alborz, Tony and Paul, was so well received that a number of you asked us to keep going with a series of podcast episodes with the three of us recounting stories from our 15 years together.
This episode is all about our first 'Full Throttle' trip. The European trip was fully funded by, the then broke, us, where we lined up drives of the Bugatti Veyron, a pair of Lamborghinis and a James Bond Aston Martin.
As always, the trip was full of adventures, learning from mistakes and being typical Australians in a foreign country.
If you'd like to see the images from our first trip, head to the CarExpert website where we've uploaded a full gallery. Don't hate us for what you see! Also please note this episode contains a language warning.
